How Much Does It Cost To Study JAPANESE At ETHOS?

Before we take you to the price charts, we want to be very clear about what IS and what IS NOT included in the prices you will be seeing in the charts. So, please look carefully at the following lists before you scroll down to the price chart for the different study and housing options.

Also, please know that there are Immigration expenses you will have to pay if you come study in any school located in the Philippines. There is a link in the menu above to the ABOUT IMMIGRATION page that will explain all of this to you.

These things ARE Included in Our Price:

  • Airport transfers.
  • Tuition and study materials.
  • Use of the school facility.
  • All taxes and service fees.
  • Purified drinking water at school and in ETHOS housing facilities.
  • Housing (if you choose ETHOS housing).
  • WiFi at the housing and school facilities.
  • Travel and immigration assistance.

These things ARE NOT Included in Our Price:

  • Immigration expenses. (See About Immigration page in the menu above.)
  • Local cell phone service.
  • Local transportation.
  • Outside housing cost. (If needed)
  • Daily meals and snacks.
  • Laundry service.
  • Medical expenses.
  • Expenses for tourist activities and shopping.

Price Options Currently Available:

You have a choice of with or without housing. Our housing option is a space in a shared room inside one of our DORMITORY apartments. This means that depending upon the enrollment during the time you are with us, you may or may not have roomates. Please remember that we do have a curfew and a few house rules we ask all of our sudents to follow.

Of course, you are free to find your own housing while you are here. This option will definitely be more expensive, but you will have more freedom. Please remember that if you stay in outside housing, you must arrive at ETHOS for class at 9:00 AM. We will not make allowances for late arrivals. (The ETHOS office opens daily at 8:30 AM, so you can arrive early and not be late for class.)

Here are the various cost options for our 4-Month (16-week) Foreign Resident Japanese training program:

  • For Dormitory Housing and Tuition = $US 4,200.00
    • This is $US 1,050.00 per month for 4 months.
  • For Tuition Only (without housing) = $US 2,400.00
    • This is $US 600.00 per month for 4 months.
  • For Bayfront Hotel

How Do I Pay For My Course?

We accept payment by credit card. Simply tell us which options you want and we will send you a credit card billing invoice through email for our 15% non-refundable registration fee. Once we receive this registration fee payment, we will book your study and reserve your space in our program.

Then, a few weeks before you are scheduled to arrive at ETHOS, we will send you a second invoice through email for the balance payment. You must pay this balance amount no later than 15 days before you leave to come to ETHOS.

Please note that if you contact us to book your training less than 1 month before you plan to arrive, we will only send one payment invoice for the entire price.
